Update! Update! Read All About It!

Hello Readers! I haven't blogged in quite a while, but I'm back! There are many things going on, so here are some of them!



1. Gamers Corner         A couple months ago, I said I was making a new blog, Gamers Corner! It is now open and ready to blog on, so I will be making our FIRST post today! At Gamers Corner, you may discuss certain moves in games, suggest and rate them, share ideas for new games, and more! Follow today!

2. Christmas                As you know, today is Christmas Eve and that means tomorrow is Christmas! Every year, I love to write down the presents I receive and this year, what I give. I will be posting the two lists after TOMORROW because I cannot let my family members see what I have gotten them. (;

3. Big Dreamer           I am creating a new blog in addition to Gamers Corner, called Big Dreamer! Big Dreamer is a blog for dreams.It is a public dream journal that anyone can "post" on. Just type a dream in the comments and you'll be starred in a post!

Summer

Summer break has ended and vacations are over. It's sad but true.  You may have also realized that it's still hot! Well, here are some ways to beat the heat, whether you use it now or next summer!


1. Spend the day at an indoor ice rink.

2. Read a book with a snowy setting.

3.Get pretend money from a board game and put it in a pile. Then stick it in front of a fan and let it blow. See who can catch the most money!

4.Make some fruit slush! Put 1/4 cup water, 1 cup fresh strawberry slices, and 1 cup ice cubes in a blender.  blend well and pour in a glass.

5. Play cold potato in a kiddie pool with a small block of ice.

6.In this race, each person holds a frisbee with a water balloon inside over their head with one hand. The first person to reach the other end of the yard wins.

7. Freeze grapes and berries. Pop some in a drink. The fruits will make it cool and you can eat it too!

8. Have a hunt for glow in the dark plastic stars in your backyard right after the sun sets.

9.Put a bowl of ice in front of a fan and turn it on.

10. Take turns getting your hair wet and giving each other funny hairstyles.

  I have been so busy! I have been playing volleyball and basketball, I'm in a play, and so much more!

My birthday was just a few days ago and I got some of the best presents ever. For example, I got a smartphone! It is awesome. In two days is my party and it is going to be great!

Me: I thought so.

You: Hey! You didn't say much anyways.

I'm Back!

Dear Geekers, 

I'm sorry I have not posted in such a long time! It's been hard to find some geeky stuff to post about and now I have a bucket load of it!

  1. Don't be surprised if I start calling you guys Geekers. It's a pretty cool name.

  2. Phoenix Comicon is coming soon! I can't wait!

   3. I have a once in a life-time experience at Comicon this year! I get to meet the one and only Jack Barrowman (A.K.A. Captain Jack)!

  4. For Comicon, my father has bought us "Don't Panic" towels. These are related to "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy."

  5. I can't wait to try and  enter the Jello Brain Eating Contest at Comicon!

  6. OLD NEWS ALERT: For my brother's birthday, he got a Perry The Platypus Water Bottle!

7. When my family goes to Comicon, we will be going on Thursday evening to get our cards. Then, we will go on Friday and spend the night! On Saturday, we will spend the night again and go home on Sunday (after Comicon of course!). I am still so excited!

8. I'm just checking out the show, "Doctor Whooves." Now, I don't really like My Little Pony, but last night I watched the first episode on Youtube and I can say it was okay. Just so you know, it's a mix between Doctor Who and My Little Pony.

9. I went crazy with Comicon and put a ton of things on our Conquest. Now I know I can only wait for Comicon at this point.

10.I will have a lot of pictures to show you guys and I will soon, but right now my camera is out of batteries and my charger is lost. :( I am actually going to be checking prices for one after I finish this post. 

11. I am reading two awesome books called "Heck: Where The Bad Kids Go" and "A Tale Dark And Grimm." Yes with two w's. It's about Hansel and Gretel.

Crazy Brother Colson

The other day my mother and I looked at the pictures and videos of my camera, my mom's camera, and my brother's camera. We cracked ourselves up when we saw Colson's videos. Almost every single one contained him saying "bleh bleh bleh..."  In one video, he said "Say, I love you Emma," and he turned the camera upside down facing me and said "I love yoouu." In another, it was dark until he said "bleh, bleh, bleh" again. Soon, these videos will be on here.



I just got home from Hawaii two days ago. It was really fun and I miss it already. There will be a lot more about this soon.

If you are adventurous, you should try the Lay's Finalist Flavors of chips. It is a contest that they hold each year. Each of these years, people send in ideas for flavors and three come true! But, only one of three is made into a real flavor. The other two are there for a limited time. Last year's winner was BLT. This year they have Sriacha, Chicken and Waffles, and Garlic Cheesy Bread. All except for Chicken and Waffles are good. You might disagree with me at first, but then you will get the after taste of chicken after you taste syrup. So try them and vote on their website! Please say which one you liked best in comments!

Another Good Book Finished

I really enjoy it when I read a really good book. This book was called 13 Treasures. The author did a very good job of writing this book. She made it so you would be upset if you had to stop reading. 13 Treasures is about a girl named Tanya and her second sight. She is tampered with almost every night, three fairies putting spells on her, but when Tanya's mother finds a broken light-bulb, it has been her last straw. Tanya is sent to her grandmother's house where she walks into the mystery of Morwenna Bloom, a girl who disappeared 50 years ago in Hangman's Wood. Although Tanya does not know that trying to help the girl can get her very close to being killed. The author was very intense and I was surprised that the book was from Scholastic.

Family Fact File: Mom

A mom is a symbol of love. Seriously, it's true. A mother always cares for her children, even in the form of an animal. A mother will do whatever it takes to care for her children. A cheetah, for example, will pounce.My mother is truly a mother. She will do whatever it takes to care for me, my geeky brother, and my father. It may not be so geeky, but it proves that even geeky kids have caring, loving mothers like me.
